Whiskey Rum Roasted
LimitedVariety: Chandragiri
Roast: Medium Roast
Honey-processed Catuai aged in reclaimed whiskey and rum barrels from Odisha distilleries. The 30-day barrel rest imparts layers of vanilla, oak, and spirit warmth onto the coffee's natural sweetness. A conversation piece roast, complex, bold, and absolutely unmistakable.
Moka pot or espresso for the full barrel intensity. French press at 94°C, 4-minute steep, the oils and body come through beautifully. Pairs exceptionally with a drop of cream.
Oak Winds Washed Arabica
LimitedVariety: Arabica SLN 9
Roast: Light Roast
One of Odisha's highest-grown washed Arabicas, from Oak Winds Farm at 1150–1450m elevation in Pottangi. Extended wet fermentation (36 hours) followed by slow shade drying on raised beds yields a cup of exceptional brightness and floral complexity. Limited lots available per season.
Best as pour-over or V60. Use water at 90–92°C. Ratio 1:16. Allow 3–4 minutes total brew time. The light roast expresses the citrus and floral character most fully.
Dream Hill Honey Arabica
SeasonalVariety: Chandragiri
Roast: Medium Roast
Honey-processed Catuai from the Saptagiri Plantation's highest blocks. The 72-hour mucilage drying on raised beds in Koraput's dry-season sun concentrates natural fruit sugars, delivering a sweet, complex cup that balances floral aromatics with honeyed texture.
Excellent as Chemex or AeroPress. Water at 93°C. The honey process creates a syrupy body that shines with longer extraction. Try also as a cold brew for a deeply sweet, low-acidity experience.
Maa Mangala Honey Arabica
SeasonalVariety: Arabica S795
Roast: Medium Roast
Honey-processed S795 from the Maa Mangala estate in Jeypore. The tropical microclimate of this valley imparts distinctive mango-like sweetness to the cherry, amplified by the honey processing method. A standout Odisha coffee for buyers seeking unusual, origin-expressive lots.
Best as AeroPress or Chemex. Water at 92°C. The honey processing creates a thick, syrupy body. Experiment with finer grind settings to unlock the full tropical sweetness.
Variety: Arabica Chandragiri
Roast: Medium Roast
Wild-foraged civet coffee (Kopi Luwak) from Brown Valley Coffee Estate, roasted. Coffee cherries pass through the digestive tract of the wild Asian palm civet, ferment naturally, and are hand-collected, cleaned and sun-dried, then roasted medium to keep the smooth, low-bitter cup the washed processing produces. Wild-foraged, never caged; seasonal and available only in small quantities.
Pour-over or French press at 92–94°C, medium grind, 1:15 ratio. The chocolate and creamy, dairy-like sweetness need room, avoid over-extraction. Excellent as a slow cold brew.
Variety: Chandragiri
Roast: Medium-Dark Roast
Natural-process Chandragiri rested in barrels seasoned with whiskey and Old Monk rum. The natural's dark-fruit sweetness meets molasses, oak and a warm spirit finish. A limited barrel lot — bold, rounded and unmistakable.
Best as espresso or moka pot for full barrel intensity. French press at 94°C, 4-minute steep. A drop of cream rounds the spirit warmth.
Teacher's Whiskey × HSD
LimitedVariety: Arabica HSD (Hibrido de Timor)
Roast: Medium Roast
HSD honey lot from Brown Valley rested in Teacher's blended-Scotch barrels. The semi-dry sweetness of the HSD base carries malt, vanilla-oak and a clean stone-fruit lift. Balanced rather than boozy.
Filter (V60 or Chemex) at 93°C, medium grind, to keep it clean; espresso at 93°C, 26–28 seconds for a richer, maltier shot.
Rum × Natural
LimitedVariety: Arabica S795
Roast: Medium-Dark Roast
Certified-organic S795 natural rested in dark-rum barrels. The clean organic terroir keeps it from turning heavy; expect brown sugar, cocoa and a mellow rum warmth. The most approachable of the barrel series.
Espresso at 93°C, 25–28 seconds, or French press at 94°C. Holds up well with milk for a rum-tinged cortado.
Vanilla Whiskey × Washed
LimitedVariety: Arabica S795
Roast: Medium Roast
Washed S795 rested with vanilla pods in whiskey oak. The clean washed base stays transparent, letting bourbon vanilla and soft oak sit alongside caramel and a citrus lift. The most delicate of the barrel lots.
Pour-over at 92–93°C, medium-fine grind, 1:16 ratio. The vanilla reads sweetest black; also lovely as a flat white.
Cherry Whiskey × Natural
LimitedVariety: Chandragiri
Roast: Medium Roast
Natural Chandragiri co-conditioned with cherry and rested in whiskey barrels. The natural's inherent dark-cherry note is amplified into a jammy, almost liqueur-like cup, with almond and dark chocolate underneath.
French press or moka pot at 94°C for the fullest body. As espresso, a 1:2 ratio keeps the cherry bright without turning sour.
Orange Rum × Natural
LimitedVariety: Arabica S795
Roast: Medium Roast
S795 natural co-fermented with orange peel and finished in rum barrels. Bright candied-orange and marmalade notes lift the natural's cocoa base, with a rum warmth on the finish. Christmas in a cup.
Pour-over at 92°C keeps the orange zesty; espresso at 93°C, 27 seconds brings out the rum and cocoa. Excellent cold brew.
