About the Farm

Durga Madhav Coffee Estate is a family-run farm in the Similiguda area, known for its richly flavoured natural-processed Robustas. The estate follows traditional cultivation practices with minimal chemical inputs, relying on the natural fertility of the Eastern Ghats soil.

The Story Behind the Farm

Named in reverence to both the local deity Durga and the family patriarch Madhav, this estate has been shaped by two generations of the same family. The elder generation set the roots; the younger generation has embraced quality protocols and traceability standards to open export markets.

Processing Methods

Natural

Whole cherries are dried on raised beds for 25–35 days with regular turning to ensure even drying. The fruit remains in contact with the bean throughout, imparting rich fruit sweetness and body.

Washed

Cherry pulp is mechanically removed before fermentation in water tanks (18–36 hours). The parchment is then thoroughly washed and dried on raised beds for 12–18 days. Produces clean, bright, terroir-transparent cups.
